비기어게인 박정현 시리즈 그 두 번째! ㅎㅎ
Frank Sinatra라는 분의 My way를 박정현 풍으로 담담하게 담아 내었다.
중후한 목소리를 박정현의 목소리로 재해석했다.
인생의 어느 시점을 지난 사람이 자신이 밟아왔던 발자국을 돌아보며
자기 자신에게 혹은 타인에게 위로와 격려를 하는 따뜻한 노래가 아닐까 싶다.

맞아요. 그럴 때도 있었죠, 물론 당신도 아시겠지만,
내가 과욕을 부렸던 때가 있었어요.
하지만 그 모든 과정에서, 의구심이 들 때도
난 그 일을 잘 해냈어요.
난 모든 것에 정면으로 맞섰고, 당당히 버텼으며
내 방식대로 해냈습니다.

나는 사랑했고, 웃기도 했고, 울기도 했어요.
나는 가질만큼 가져도 봤고, 잃을 만큼 잃어도 봤어요
And now as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
이제 눈물이 사라진 뒤 보니
모두 너무 즐거운 추억이라는 것을 알았어요.
To think I did all that
And may I say not in a shy way

제가 했던 모든 걸 생각하니
부끄러워하지 않는 투로 이렇게 말해도 되겠죠
아뇨 무슨 말씀을, 전 달라요
전 제 방식대로 살았어요” 라고

인간은 무엇 때문에 인간이고, 무엇을 가졌나요?
If not himself then he has naught
그 자신이 아니고서야 아무것도 아니죠

비굴한 말은 해서는 안됩니다.

네 그 것은 제 방식이었답니다.
-파란색 부분은 박정현 버전에서는 없는 부분이다. 원곡자 곡에는 존재한다. 박정현 버전으로도 "I've loved, I've laughed and cried I've had my fill, my share of losing And now as tears subside I find it all so amusing" 이 부분을 듣고 싶었는데 살짝 아쉽다..ㅎㅎ
